Trying to find a desktop for running some ping running processes at home. Seems I’m going to end up on a M1 Mac Mini. I want something cheapish with a desktop running.

The primary goal of the machine is writing code for Algotrading. It shouldn’t sleep and run the tasks constantly. The reason to use a home server is to avoid the huge costs of AWS for a similar machine.
